I honestly give 0 fricks about where the commentators are from so long as they are pleasant to listen to. I happen to really like Alejandro Moreno and he's got a pretty thick Venezuelan accent.
People are making too big a deal out of this "if you want America to like soccer be less English about it." I don't think people are intentionally being European; people are just using the terms associated with the game. When I say kit instead of jersey I don't think how English I'm being by saying it.

JP Dellacamara isn't a terrible play-by-play guy but he's been relegated to ESPN Radio broadcasts.
The problem with most American broadcasters is that they don't understand how to call the cantor of the game. Gus Johnson fills "dead" time with useless trivia.
British announcers can be horrendous, especially if they just speak in cliches like Troy Aikman does for NFL coverage.

Honestly not meaning to offend you and I doubt you even care what I think, but this gets on my nerves to no end. Kit, pitch, fit, all of them. One of my biggest pet peeves.
