Why is Espn terrible and why do you like yahoo better?

desktop only, no app: Dl'd yahoo app, uninstalled

Yahoo is easier to navigate as it has destination buttons leading you straight to what you are looking for

ESPN stats layout and info is counter-intuitive, no fractional points, no custom based integrated projections

I played ESPN for just one year 4 years ago

points for/against?...ESPN has no bells or whistles...which may be acceptable to some, but to me it's disrespectful....like "we are ESPN, we know many will come here whether or not we put out a good product"

But espn does have fractional points, in addition to points for and against.

maybe now, but when I played 4 years back, it was a skeleton site compared to Yahoo.

that was a screen cap... a 12 year old could design that page

yea ESPN def has points for and against, always have to my recollection.

Yahoo is just slower. Anything you click seems like forever to load compared to ESPN. Their free agent page sucks too. It's always sorted by pre season rankings. And their stats are hard to read. ESPN is just so much easier to read for me.

and the App is even worse. I dont know how anyone deals with that. It never works, and the navigation sucks balls

just went over to view it...it is faster now it seems. I don't have a team, but Yahoo's cross-selling is bogging it down.

Stats are easier to access...is there a trade evaluator?

okay, not sure why that's not amendable, but whatever

not sure how to delete league I made....but whatever

I made a custom...still don't see where fractional scoring is

can't see what peyton manning is projected to have in points scored week 9

Say I drafted Peyton and want to trade him to a guy i'm playing in week 9....how can I see the match up?

After week 1, ESPN will have players schedule for the year on their player page

you click the player and a small screen pops up. You can see his schedule and his previous points for the week

as part of the player search you can pick a week to see what each player is projected to do that certain week.

it'll show something like manning week 9 vs pats projected 381.2 yards 3 tds 1 int 7 rush yards .3 fumble

I use this alot when looking for trade partners

Say I'm playing a guy a certain week, i look for his top projected the week we are playing and trade him a guy on bye or bad match-up

ESPN seems more for set it and forget it types

I saw that, from last year

when season starts, does it say week 2.5

week 1 20 pts
week 2 24 pts
week 3 -
week 4 -

or

week 1 20 pts
week 2 24 pts
week 3 projected 21
week 4 projected 19
