I was for land mines 20 years ago. I'm still for land mines. No one has convinced me that it won't work. Cheap, efficient and nobody gets hurt.

People get hurt by landlines every day, over 50 million worldwide, unexploded, some which go back to WW1.
The reason they work in Korea is because no one wants to go north and anyone wishing to go south gets nabbed by the police state long before they reach the mine fields.
All shitty James Bond movies notwithstanding.
