Yeah, as Young is an undersized C. He falls into the range where he is big and strong enough to guard centers, yet isn't too lumbering where he cannot guard PFs.
Bass is a tad short but still had the strength and size to guard Cs while also being able to handle PFs.

I know who Young is, but haven't watched him that much. Isn't he like Johnny OB with a lesser offensive game?

Young is 3" taller than Brandon Bass with shoes on, fwiw
ETA: Young was an even 6'10" with shoes on at the pre draft camp. I don't get all the undersized references
