Going back to Brandon Bass, he came in to the NBA similar to Young. A built PF/C tweener without a defined role. He was also a better rebounder and shot blocker than Young was in college, and he doesn't set the NBA on fire doing either. He is a decent enough role player, though, as he does a bunch of things pretty well and possesses that little 15 foot jumper.

False. Bass was undersized PF. Not a shot blocker by any stretch of imagination. Had a 100 times better offense game than young. Only thing that sounds right from that was bass was better rebounder. Also better all around player in college. Young possibly could have a higher ceiling but also could be way worse than bass in NBA

False. Young will probably be better.

Brandon has an insane work ethic. Young seems to be a hard worker so hopefully that serves him well. That usually translates to rebounding and high efficiency near the rim in these type of games.

Yeah, as Young is an undersized C. He falls into the range where he is big and strong enough to guard centers, yet isn't too lumbering where he cannot guard PFs.

Bass is a tad short but still had the strength and size to guard Cs while also being able to handle PFs.

Bass averaged 2 blocks a game at LSU
