Of course. Do you not see all the frickups in the world? Those are real examples of the affects of bad decisions most of which were done knowingly.

In every day life, it's the little things. What's a better decision for me... eating pizza or a grilled chicken sandwich? I chose pizza knowing it wasn't "best".

There's a huge difference between "best" and "self-serving"... they are often opposites, actually.

I considered them the same. What is the most self serving decision would be the "best" decision as far as you are concerned.
