I have not been in an accident in a long time, and I would be reasonable till they started BS and then I would make the call. I am way to busy to deal with bullshite...

Tell him this is bs and have his supervisor call you. Btw if adjuster was ducking you; you should have called their general claims line and requested a rental.
There is a time limit with some companies on the rental from when they make the payment offer but should get you the check before that period ends. If you delayed in accepting offer you may be sol.
