But take a team like the 6ers. They're trying to tank, have tons of future picks, and loads of cap space. Why not take a chance on a guy like Rivers for a way-down-the-road 2nd rounder? If he sucks, then he helps you lose games and you move on from him next season. If he's good, then you have another young asset.

They have Carter-Williams, Wroten, and Lin incoming. So I can see why they aren't interested.
