With Cameron calling the plays, we won't rely on QB for everything but we will throw the ball also. Cam knows we have too many weapons at WR and at TE not to throw it. He won't put it on the QB to win the whole game, or press the pass if it's not working though. A lot at stake in recruiting guys like Tyrone Johnson and George Campbell to not even attempt to throw the ball. That could seal the deal for schools trying to get those guys. No way we revert back to the poor one dimensional offense we used to have now that we have Cam. I'm looking for 60-65% run and 35-40% pass ratio.

quote:agreed. Even if the Run:Pass ratio ends up the same in 2014 that it was in 2011 there will be significant differences. One of the most important differences we will see IMO will be the route trees when we do pass. Avoiding the word "predictable", I think the route selection pre-Cam (especially under Stud) was O formation based and did a poor job of taking advantages of D formation/weaknesses. To take it a level further if QB play looks more like Jr/Sr level play than Freshman, the route selections will try to CREATE defensive weak spots.
