Aspercel,
Seen you posting quite a bit about riding. Fiance will be moving down in a few months. In september we plan on going look at barns for her, any suggestions to look at?
she does dressage/XC/stadium stuff. i'm still learning the horse world so don't know all the terms.

You looking in Baton Rouge specifically?

Are you looking to buy a place or board her horse?

Horse riding chicks are usually pretty hot

Eventing is not huge here it I may be of some help, at least in steering away from bad places.
Mps's fisncee is in a good place in New Orleans, but Italy be a little pricey. I know an exercise rider who events and keeps her horse there all winter, so I'm sure they do some of that.

Preferably around baton rouge. We don't have a trailer and she'd like to qualify for the championships in Houston next year.
Thanks for the help everyone.

Folsom has a lot of barns. Lagniappe Farms is one that seems pretty good.

Lagniappe used to be great. The trainer has moved. I'll try to figure out what the name of her new place is

Well if it's around BR, she's limited to Pville/Asc. Only place I can think of in BR that could offer her a place to practice dressage, eventing type set up is Farr Park.

I have him my opinions on brec both good and bad.

Where in Pville if you don't mind?
Posted on 7/10/14 at 8:50 pm to windmill
Look at Folsum.
1 hr drive unfortunately
Also lots of private places south of BR on the river. Lots of places to ride. Not much dressage but some hunter jumper folks

She/he looking to board only?
I was thinking Burbas place in St. Gabriel if she wants board/instruction.

Nope.
I know where you are talking about, though.

Oh for goodness sake, just name the barn!

She's looking for board at a place that has dressage arena and fences for jumping. Plus preferably someone who travels to events as well.
