realistically, there are a hand full of places he likely narrowed down his desires to a while back
Miami
Cleveland
Chicago
LA
NYC
maybe Houston/Dallas
The rest had no shot. Ever. From there, by the end of this season, he could narrow it down to probably 3 or 4 teams based on how they did, their cap situation, the direction of the franchise, etc. So come July 1, he probably had 3 or so teams in mind. Now no significant moves will be made until he decides. he knows that, and yet he sits idly. That's cool. I don't care. But he's the one who said he regretted his first FA period and how he handled it (in particular the show). Now he's riding this shite out too.

did i say that? want to point to my post where i said those words?
well your post either implied that or the notion that Lebron should ignore all the changes that have happened recently.
There's my response

So many bullies up in here

Does he know what is gonna happen with Parsons? Melo? Bosh? Gasol? He can't even sign anything till tomorrow so who cares already
Oh and no one has to wait on LeBron. They can do whatever they want also. They're choosing to wait on him, so blame them as well

no…and you know why? they are all waiting on him.
Posted on 7/9/14 at 8:52 pm to jimithing11
i don't get why they are all defending him.
Posted on 7/9/14 at 8:52 pm to quail man
OK. Then why not blame them for waiting as well?
Posted on 7/9/14 at 8:53 pm to quail man
I'm not defending LeBron, I just think it's dumb to be hating on him already when contracts can't even be signed yet
Posted on 7/9/14 at 8:56 pm to jg8623
the difference is that it's the teams waiting on him. these other guys can't do shite becuas the teams won't do anything until LeBron makes his move. the entire NBA is stagnant waiting for this guy. LeBron knows that. does he really think pondering for an extra day or two will make up his mind better? he's like one of these pampered HS football recruits waiting to announce his decision on signing day.

assumption on your part

I get what you're saying, but is a couple extra days in free agency really gonna kill people and cause that big of a deal? Now if we're in the same spot a week from now then I'll be on board telling him to make up his damn mind.
Posted on 7/9/14 at 9:02 pm to jg8623
i wouldn't be surprised if some of this is the NBA's doing. the longer this drags out, the more attention stays on the NBA and away from MLB, NFL, etc.

It's almost like Lebron wants to meet with all the teams and decide what will be the best for his future... like any normal person would want to do with their future job. I get you don't like him, but until he turns his free agency decision into another TV show, I'd say he's doing a better job than last time.

You quoted a different poster and used his words as mine. You are the worst troll of all. You need to learn from a master. It must suck to think you are good at trolling and still suck at it.

dude has been thinking about this day for at least a year. if he doesn't know by now where he wants to go, then shame on him.
"Shame" on him?
We're talking about a freaking sport, not politics or war. Some of you people need to stop acting like teenage girls and getting up in arms about something totally inconsequential to your lives.

People act like my beliefs are outlandish. Most media members, who I remind you have been in constant communication with execs from around the league, are surprised LBJ has taken this long.
He's known this was coming. When he can "officially" sign is irrelevant. If that was the case, none of the other verbal deals would hold any merit.
The longer he holds out, the more attention he gets, the more speculation is done, etc, etc. It's all a ploy. What's so hard to understand?
