Ah...that makes sense. I bet this is it.

I'm wondering if they would do anything at all. On one hand, they don't want you pirating apps, on the other hand, they don't want you to stop using google services.

for the record, it just has a little yellow caution triangle next to it..and when you roll over it it says 'inappropriate item - sharing disabled'.

i understand XDA devs dont work for charity; but i'm pretty over all those 'wait 30 seconds for download to begin' hosting sites where all the ROMs & stuff are now.

that's the whole reason i started storing the good stuff on google drive.

guess i have to go for plan B now that i cant share it with all my phones.

eta i'm trying a new trick; change all the names to "blah_apk" and see if they can still figure it out..i bet they can. likely google is peeking into the archive itself.
