They did this at UGA too.
They've already found that it's virtually impossible to enforce, and you honestly wouldn't know that there was a smoking ban in effect if you walked through campus. People just ignore it and light up anyway.

It's the same way here. There are smoking ban signs everywhere. But people ignore it.
