Exactly what I do. My dogs hate it because I imagine it tastes bad. I know some people put it in a hot dog and feed it to them but I would rather just give it to them directly so I know they are getting it in their system.

The vet as Associated Vets in Baton Rouge gave me this for my rescue dog who had adult heart worms. They did a "slow kill". It worked in 6 months. This sounds much cheaper than Heartguard,
