They just signed a long term, big money deal with AS Roma and also supposedly putting money into the shopping area of Roma's new stadium.
I believe they just extended longer term with Inter as well.

they're probably looking for better value now. If it was worth 60+m/yr to them in business, they'd take it. these sponsorship deals are getting nuts and nike doesn't need them to own the overall market. these smaller companies need to overpay for advertising purposes as well.
