That's the 10% of market value assessment which is what non-commercial property is assessed at under Louisiana property tax law.
The property is valued at $519,500.
So, you're only off by 90% which is not bad for you.....

So the market assessment is $83 an acre, got it. Just like I said.

You are correct about that, but that's still pretty cheap.
