I strongly disagree that any group of people benefits more than the other from a good teacher.
It is way too much of a generalization to make that claim. What each kid needs, is what each kid needs. What makes one teacher good for one student, could be why they aren't for the next.

Low performers benefit far more from a good teacher than high performers. It's pretty simple.
