Shoes
Braces
Stuff for any activities they are involved in(sports, dance, etc.)
Car
Car insurance
School supplies
Computer/laptop for them for school
spending money/allowance

And don't forget food, especially if they're boys. I have 3 teenage nephews and the grocery bill for that house .

I'm thinking if you don't buy them a car, there is no way that they cost more when they are teenagers (assuming public school).

My parents alleviated most of their burden by making us pay for it under the guise of "responsibility"
