I'm on phone so I can't link but that German goal vs the US the board striker whatever you call it had to deal with a bad centerbut instantaneously and a neatly drag his back foot to foot it into the goal

There's a difference between directing a ball towards goal and trying to control a ball with three guys around you.

Sorry MB is not Thomas Meuller. If that is our expectations of him on the offensive end, we will almost always be disappointed.

Yes MB could do it. and prbly would do it 8/10 times (or whatever). It was unfortunate that it didnt happen. That is it.

To call MB out for this an mistakes like this is weird to me because Wondo had as big of a disaster than all of MB put together. Jones had regressed in the Belgium game and had a lot of pour touches throughout the Cup. Dempsey had struggles throughout the cup. nose related or not. Cameron missed a ball. 3 cbs didnt defend properly on that CR7 cross. We as a team lost our shape and let CR7 get wide open without a midfielder sagging on him. We pushed too far forward at that point as well. Gonzalez got beat. Bessler fell down. Zusi didn't even play a game except one cross.


But this list could go on forever. Why are we singling out MB?
