The dude constantly shits on movies like he's some type of A listed oscar worthy director, but he sometimes he has some good insight.

Damn I remember watching that at the movie theater. I was 9 years old. Still a good movie. I have probably watched it well over 100 times lol

People from the South like this movie more than other parts of the country and the politics has a lot to do with it.

I know a lot of people love this film.

But having read the book before seeing it (and loving the book), I can say it is one of the worst "film versions" of a book ever made.

What a horrible article. The writer basically misses everything about the movie. It's not even funny (like I imagine it was intended to be).

All three are fantastic movies with superb acting. They just happened to come out at the same time. I dont have a problem with any of these three winning that year.
