Sea N Suds

Very convenient depending on your condo. We used to stay at the Boardwalk right next to it. Awesome for lunch if you didn't wanna go to the room and eat a sandwich.

Yea, we stayed at island sunrise about a hundred yards from sea n suds for years and years. It was always great because of it's convience, but it wouldn't be my first choice if I had to drive there.

My take:

Cobalt -- pretty good/solid, but not great as far as the food goes. It's always hot in there. However, the atmosphere is nice factoring the people that go there and view of the water. Great location.

Cosmo's -- I like their food more than Cobalt's. Above average fish, plus the great beer selection. Nice little bar area where you can eat. However, the location isn't nearly as good as Cobalt, which isn't a big deal, you just have to drive a bit.

Cafe Grazie -- maybe I ate the wrong things, but the food is about on par with Olive Garden. Again, the location helps it. Pretty good atmosphere.

Cobalt is the best one I have found. Tacky jacks is ok. Haven't been to Cosmo's.

Where my parents place is. I love getting beer and oysters at Sea n Suds.

I would add:
Bravo Tacos
Cactus Flower Cafe
Fishers
Moes BBQ
Cricos for take out pizza.

Cobalt is a must for the weekend breakfast rotation. Especially after a few to many bushwackers the night before.

Went by Moe's BBQ when we were there a couple of weeks ago. It was pretty dang good. They were sold out of everything by around 8:30 though, on a Friday night.

The Gulf. I had low expectations based on the simple menu, but the damned food was really good. Great burger. Good service, although the hot milf bartender was a bit surly.

They play old 70s 80s ish albums. Throw the vinyl on and let the whole side play.

It's open air, so be prepared for sun.

Hole in the wall, on the bay side in perdido, The point as Cosmo said. We used to close it down once a week with a party of 20. Great food

Most of the food in Gulf Shore's is over priced trash. Cobalt and Cosmo's are solid though. The Gulf is garbage. Owned by the same people that have The Hangout. Tourist trap central.

Head to Perdido if you want better food. Hub's and The Point are very solid. Lillian's has a great buffet from 12-2.

Bill's By The Beach. Go right at the seaside red light in GS instead of left to Orange Beach.

Little place with not a GREAT view, but you can see water from there. Outside dining area is available. Food was wonderful, not normal beach fare. Had Bacon and Crab Cheesecake for an appetizer, Seafood Pot Pie for entree. Prices are higher than normal beach fare, but the food is worth the price and the service is very attentive. Easy parking too. Great, classier place if you want more than the standard beer and fried whatever.

I'd add Villagio's to the list - located in OB. Very good Italian.
