Really has nothing to do with Greene needing to be in. Every other eligible person in the top 9 of sacks is in the HOF, and they all started after 1982.

I have to imagine Greene will be in at some point. He was beastly, but he did play a huge chunk of his career for the Rams and Panthers so no one saw him play
