re: Ascend FS12T Kayak

My only other tip is use it a bit before trying to install extra shite, I've got a couple holes to fix where stake out pole holder that doesn't really work right anyway pulled out, and realized I spend the entire trip other than initial paddle out with the pole by my feet at the floor of the boat anyway. I also moved the stock rod holder forward only to realize I don't ever use it and I might as well have not drilled the new holes and just removed the whole thing to begin with.

But yea, it'll leak into the hull. Some more than others. Mind got some water in it but I'm not sure if it was leaking, rain and splashing getting into aforementioned holes or a combination of the two. Another poster had his leak real bad, bps replaced it then told him to silicon the new one. I guess it is what it is. Probably have to reapply silicon every handful of trips or so. I might try marine goop next time I feel like the silicon is breaking down and see how it holds
