I think the argument is people will watch anything with America plastered on it. Professional curling hasn't exactly taken off.

I have yet to see anyone deny most Americans watch the WC because the USA was in it. I just don't get how it's an "argument" or what it's an argument against, exactly.

where are the olympic watch parties then?


Someone actually argued that the watch parties were made up by the media.....how in denial can some people be

I enjoyed the US team's run as much as anyone. My eyes were glued to the TV for the entire game and I was legitimately upset when we lost.

However, am I now supposed to care about MLS here in the US? Do I care when KC plays?

No.

If I'm to be absolutely honest, I mostly cared to see the United States win.
