We value Wimbledon more because of history/prestige/mystique, but grass is a fluky arse surface. Guys like Roddick or Ivanisevic could easily have four Wimbledons if things had broken the right way. Doesn't mean they are all time greats. Wimbledon shouldn't carry that much more value when evaluating greatness. Heck, I think you can argue the hard court tournaments should carry the most weight because it is the most neutral surface.

Grass is also a novelty surface. It's sort of a gimmick.

They play zero Masters events on grass. Hell, they don't even play a 500 event on grass. Not even a single freaking 500 event.

Professional tennis is 60% hard courts, 35% clay courts, and 5% grass courts. And if were to tally up available points, 5% is probably being generous.
