I think I'm happier we're playing Belgium than Algeria

1. we get an extra day of rest, which we desperately need after our group situation
2. Algeria is the exact type of team that fricks with us. they're big, strong, athletic, and direct on the counter, using speed to split CBs. with how our back line has been so shaky, i could see us giving up an early goal and then we'd be up shite creek
3. Belgium has injury worries on the backline and no outside backs, which should open up our best player (fabian) so far in this tournament. they have been inconsistent offensively and are a mess at striker so far, which is hurting their attacking mids. that plays into our defense (which is much more affected by creative strikers making horizontal and diagnoal runs behind our non-communicating CBs and cross/heads)
4. our team plays stronger as an underdog in big tournaments

If Fabian pushes forward too often Hazard will rape us on our right side.

I don't know if I agree but I have no idea why teams don't realize that you need fullbacks.

i'm definitely excited to see how this one plays out. a positive result would really turn a lot of heads around the world.
