Fuego, Devotion to a Dream, 555, Sing Monica, Wingsuit, and especially Waiting All Night have all gotten repeated airtime. I think I listened to Joy one time. This is such an improvement.
As far as translating live, we have already seen how great Fuego, Wombat, 555, and Wingsuit can be. I'd bet on at least one of those getting the extended jam treatment several times over the summer. As brillant as Waiting All Night is, I think it is the rare Phish song that is better in studio than live.
The Line sucks. I am still pissed they played that at Jazz Fest.

The album version of The Line sounds so much better than the Jazz Fest and Letterman renditions.
I wish they'd have played Devotion to a Dream at JF.

quote:Agreed on Waiting all night. It's just going to be tough to get the same quality in the vocals and general feel of the song in live performances and that's what makes it great.
