I agree. Watching the gane again now. Man, Loston had perhaps his best game of his career.

Yeah Loston gave it his best effort. The veterans balled out and give it 110%. Gave a good example to the younger guys as to how you should play LSU defense.

Everyone talks about how bad Jennings played but the worst performance by far this game was Vadal Alexander and its not even close. This game shows how talented Jeremy Hill is. Alexander got blown up by a freshman cornerback on a pull play, slowed played snap counts he was supposed to know, false started on a pass play that wasn't called (Thank God), and just looked all around disengaged and nonchalant the whole game. I feel you're only as good as your last game and based off of what I saw they need to light a fire underneath his arse...

Jennings had no pocket awareness in the Iowa game or the spring game it let the pocket collapse an took the sack to many times in both. We've only seen Harris in the spring, but when the pocket collapsed he took off. Harris was also looking to pass 1st instead of just running his arm strength is much better. I don't care who starts as long as they can manage the game, don't put us in bad situations, and make the passes when needed their going to lead us to the NC!!! Harris does have the higher ceiling though!

Jennings made a few good throws. I liked the 3rd down conversion he made to Landry with his back against the wall. He definitely needs to gain some confidence, which will come with experience. I agree, I think our game plan against Wisconsin will be almost identical to the Iowa game. Pound their arse with Magee, Fournette, and Hilliard and use the next few easy games to let him throw it around a bit to build his confidence before we enter SEC play.
