Just watched this. It was watchable but hopefully will improve. Pilots are usually rough so I'll give it some time. I agree that it has too much Disney.

Honestly the writers are in kind of a tough spot. They know that a lot of the viewing audience (at least for hte first episode or 2) is going to be late 20somethings who grew up on BMW, so they've gotta throw a hat tip here and there. But they've also gotta cater to the actual audience, being young teen girls most likely. Can't please everyone.
But yeah, I agree they need to tone down the disney a little. Farkle is just TOO much of a charicature.

I don't like how this show is shot. The angles and shots they use look nothing like Boy Meets World at all. Instead it looks and feels like a crappy modern day Disney Channel show.
