NC's aren't expected here.

They aren't "expected" anywhere, outside of some idiots in central Alabama. Anyone that "expects" a national championship is a delusional knuckle-dragger.

I expect us to bring in top recruiting classes every year and be in the running for the SEC West title every year, which in turn will nearly always put us in the hunt for the national title.

What percentage do you think would call the last 4 years disappointing?? And what percentage of BAMA fans would call last YEAR disappointing?? Think those numbers would be 40% and 95%, respectively!!

Oh, so you're one of those types that is so obsessed with Alabama and their program, that you'll never be happy with LSU, regardless of the fact that we're in the midst of BY FAR the best 10-15 year run in our school's history.

I don't like putting too many expectations on a team, it puts too much pressure on each game and makes them less fun to watch. If we do end up winning a championship, awesome, but it should never be a preseason expectation. You'll be disappointed more often than not. I don't want to have one loss ruin the rest of the season for me. Hoping for 10 wins this regular season, but would love it if we can do better!

Thanks for making the point. Expect and demand NC's and they will be had. Not every year but is 1 over the past 6 years given LSU's resources unreasonable?? All I am saying is we are not different from any school not named BAMA in NC expectations so I feel there will no disappointment in a majority of our fans if Les does NOT win another title, given we see same results as last year.
