Emmert had a bigger impact on LSU's success than everyone mentioned in this thread.

I glad somebody mentioned Emmert. He made Saban the Saban we see today. He taught LSU you get what you pay for in a coach. Even if every ticket to a game was sold, LSU lost about $ 1 million per game at the end of the Dinardo era by having 20k no shows which meant loss of concessions and nobody buying merchandise.
