Ok, I couldn't figure out where a Piccadilly on Government was, so I GoogleMapped it, and still can' figure it out. Even with street view on I know the area. I just moved from there. But I don't remember seeing a Piccadilly.

Back in my grandma's time -- and I'm on the other side of 50 from most of the posters here -- the Westmoreland Shopping Center (Plaza?) was quite the center of commerce.
And on Sundays the Piccadilly had lines out the door out to the street. Deserts that used to be at the front of the serving line (evil genius marketing), giant slabs of beef from which the "roast beast" was carved, and real-glass glasses full of either iced tea with 2" of sugar dumped in it (I can still hear the "clink clink clink" of the tea being stirred all over the room), or your choice of spotlight-illuminated "pink drink" or "red drink" for wide-eyed Mississippi kids like me who had never seed nuthing like that before.
Plus the magic conveyor belt where the dirty serving trays disappeared into a hole. Oh, did I mention that servers used to take your tray to the table and dispense the plates of food?
It. Was. Magic.
Think I'll be there in the next few days to drop a large honorarium in Henry Gray's tip jar? Count on it.
South side of Government just west of Acadian Throughway. Don't miss this real part of Baton Rouge's history. And please tip Mr. Gray -- he is Mr. Baton Rouge.

Across the street from Radio Bar, in the shopping center.
