They're all closing, from what I've heard.

Any word on if it's because that property might be being redeveloped and they're getting the boot? I know Catholic owns it and has been trying to get money to expand and also develop commercial opportunities.

Ok, I couldn't figure out where a Piccadilly on Government was, so I GoogleMapped it, and still can' figure it out. Even with street view on I know the area. I just moved from there. But I don't remember seeing a Piccadilly.

I remember going there when DH Holmes, Young Fashions, Tic Toc Shoes, and Cohn Turner were all in that shopping center. Up until I was 24 years old or so, I probably are there more than any place else. I'm sad.

I remember being at that Piccadilly the day Jack Ruby shot Lee Harvey Oswald. We used to go there on Sundays after mass @ Sacred Heart.

Another place I went once in 2000 or so.
Got fish. It was a roach nest then.

The Piccadilly on Coolidge in Lafayette is still nice and has that old school feel to it. Food was good last time I went.

shite, now what are the CHS football players going to do before the games...?

Also, I heard Piccadilly did their lunch now, so I'm assuming they are going to have to start looking elsewhere?

Picadilly was still decent, but going downhill, when I was growing up. We have one in Gonzales. However, the change in the seasonings and recipes was noticeable. They used to have some of the best crawfish etoufee around, and their fried catfish was money. Now, it's just all so mediocre. It's not worth it like it used to be.
