So, if the team wanted to, it could just renounce all of the holds except the minimum player requirement?

This is an area where I get lost. I just don't know a whole lot about all the different rules the NBA has...and they have a bunch of them.

Yes, we can renounce all our FAs to clear cap room.

Problem is that it means we can't re-sign any of our FAs for more than either our remaining cap space or one of the various exceptions like the Mid Level Exception or Bi-Annual Exception.


That's not really an issue on a number of them, as we're unlikely to get Morrow back anyway, nor do we really care about Aminu's bird rights.
