We've got the #1, #4 and #6 batters with the most strikeouts in the AL. shite Springer doesn't even have an approach at the plate. Its swing as hard as you can and hope you hit something.

I don't care about strikeouts. It's our unwillingness to walk that really bothers me. There is no excuse for it.

BJ 8.7% bb rate
simmons 4.9% bb rate
johnson 2.3% bb rate

springer 10.5% rate

astros 8.7% as a team, braves 7.4%

Houston actually has a better team OBP, SLG, and OPS than Atlanta. The Braves are 27th in baseball in OBP.

Averages for NL teams:
OBP: .312
SLG: .386
OPS: .698

Braves:
OBP: .302
SLG: .377
OPS: .679



Too much talent on this team (at least among the starting eight position players) for this to be acceptable.
