Forgive me for being dense, but Uber is just regular people giving rides right via an App? I don't see what all te controversy is! What am I missing?

Yeah that's the jist. I have friends who live in Dallas who use it weekly & absolutely love it. Have had no problems.

The cab companies are basically the ones causing all the controversy

That's one of three options, which is the cheapest and called UberX.

Uber Black Car and Uber SUV are car/limo services are the other two. These vehicles are spotless and the drivers are incredibly hospitable.

When Uber migrated to Fort Worth from Dallas (about a year ago, I think?), availability was tight. Not many vehicles. That lasted about a month.

I'm sitting in West Fort Worth and have 9 Black Cars within 8 minutes and 7 SUVs within 10 minutes. 4 UberX within 10 minutes.

Rode with the owner of a limo service couple of weeks ago that told me he bought 10 Denalis as quickly as he could get the bank to move. He's trying to by more.

We NEVER have to wait--you guys will LOVE Uber!
