The speed limit being 55 is not the problem on Bluff. The problem is no one goes 55 on Bluff. They've overlaid the road several times and there is no shoulder, so a couple inches right and your tire drops 5-6" and first reaction is to jerk back, often times causing over correction. I've pulled a few people out of upside down cars in my yard because of this.

You go off the pavement you in trouble a lot of places on Bluff and it's just unfortunate that the lady who hit them did it in probably the absolute worst place on the whole damn road to do it.
