Carolina Rig a watermelon/red grub with a curly tail Or something of that nature. If the water is stained go to Green Pumpkin/red. Fish in 4-10 ft of water. Maybe try a fluke in the grass too.
That's what I'd try.
Will be there for a week starting July 7th.
But we will be night fishing for sure, It's what we do in the summer. Too hot to fish all day.
Good Luck.

You're by big bass marina. Go across to the Texas side and fish that big cove south of the bridge. There is alot of island there with grass flats about 6-8 ft deep. Frogs in morning and evening on grass flats

You are in a fantastic place. Ease on out of That big creek and hang a right. All that area outside of the big creek mouth to the North is tennessee bay. Look back through the timber for a pipeline. You will see it on the La. bank and running through the lake timber. Start there and work North around the edge of the remnant timber toward Cypress bend landing. Look for troughs through there and pepper grass edges. Topwater early, then soft plastics of your choice. Buzz bait can be killer out there early and late.
