Serious answer. Both are similar. Usssa seems to have some better facilities locked down, but GS did add Cypress Mounds to their locations. Both play at the new park in Hammond. I think GS games are a little bit longer(time wise). My observation this year is The GS umps are better. The thing I like about GS is the team gate fee. The team pays $150 gate fee for the weekend. That averages or to about $15 per kid. Usssa usually charges $6 per person per day. Other than that they are very similar. Chops does do a good job at his events with vendors and things for the kids.

USSSA games are 1 hr 25 min vs GS 1 hr 40 min. GS championship games are 6 inning no time limit. GS umps are much better and they pull them all the way from Florida, Ga and Bama. Always cool and easy going.

USSSA plays by USSSA rules and GS plays by MLB rules as well as the innings per pitcher differ. I think USSSA can only pitch 3 on Sat or 6 per weekend and GS can pitch 8 the entire weekend no limit on Saturday.

ETA: USSSA pitchers can pitch over 3 on Saturday but if they do they are burnt for Sunday.
