re: golfers: in the market for a new set of sticks and need some advice

My old man wants to buy me a set for my birthday, so I was looking for some recs for some to go hit and see what I like. Price range hasn't been discussed, but from what i've seen, the game improvement sets are all pretty close in price and would be doable.
