The Accounting book has a lot of terms and definitions. I forgot the first two chapters when I read chapter 6. The first 3 chapters are very dry. Hopefully there will be more calculation, which will make it easier.

I got some info from Dr. Meeks that LSUS is going to a new policy where professors must choose free open-source textbooks for classes going forward.
While this sounds good, I get a little concerned that the quality of the textbooks utilized may suffer. I am the first one to complain about the high cost of textbooks. When a book gets over $100 it gets crazy. At the same time, I think Dr. Meeks is concerned because this would effect his ability to require certain management books (not actual textbooks) for his classes. I just had a book called Play to Win that was required and only cost $22 on Amazon. I think it was worth it.
If they mandate that all textbooks must be free, it can effect the quality of our education.
