My question is why is LSU's program $44K vs LSU-S's $13K when they are both online, basically the same format, and the same school system. 
i mean I am an LSU grad, but I don't see hoe the name carries that much weight when it looks to be the same thing.
LaTech's program seems to also be similar to LSU-S and roughly the same cost.

I asked myself the same question. The BR campus offers a few more classes than the LSUS program. Essentially, they are the same.

Both LSU and LSUS are using an outside party to assist with the programs. They are splitting the revenues with that vendor. Based on information gathered from schools of similar stature to LSU in the southern region, LSU then set its price based on that average.
