Wow. I can't imagine how big a pain in the arse that would be to audit.

Immensely a pain.

I'd like a login system to the program and not mapped drives running multiple instances of the program as there is a lot of file rebuilding from corrupting of files, but this is how they've always done it thus far.

Hell I'm open to suggestions for a new PoS if anyone has any. It's a single store with about 1000 stock items listed by manufacturer. It's pertinent we use key codes for inventory as the items are too big for a barcode system. Also we have to be able to insert custom lines quite frequently for items like replacement windows, doors, or just plain special order items.
