If Miles lets Jimbo call his offense, we win a NC in 2006. That team had more talent than the 2007 team.

College-wise it is JR, his inconsistency was his downfall. As was said, he had plenty WTF moments. He wasn't mobil, what people fail to mention was that he was just so big and strong, he was not going to be brought down easily by college defenses. There are many plays where the first guy hit him and he didn't go down. Mett showed some of this, but not to the extent JR's missed tackles.

The Auburn game tells you all you need to know about what was wrong with LSU and it wasn't the QB.

If Cam wasn't his best friend, we would have more of those issues now. I believe their friendship is the only thing that makes me think Miles will give up the reins to Cameron, he trusts him. However, if he starts getting a lot of press, Miles will mess it up, that is a recurring theme.

The 2006 LSU team may have been the most talented I've seen.

That was one of Russell's worst games, he even said so in his post-game comments. He under-threw Doucet by 10 yards on the non-PI call, that would have been a walk-in touchdown.

Its like people never watched a game of Jimbo Bubble Screen Fisher under Saban.

Zero difference.

2006 played 4 top ten teams on the road. Food for thought the 2011 schedule only had 3 top ten teams. 1 home 1 neutral site (overwhelmingly pro-lsu) and 1 on the road.
