NES:
Super Mario Bros. 3
Dragon Warrior 3
Mega Man 2

SNES:
Chrono Trigger and/or Final Fantasy VI
Super Metroid and/or Zelda: A LttP
Street Fighter 2 Turbo

But the SNES is a beast of system, 3 games isn't enough to capture it all: Ogre Battle, DKC, Super Mario Kart, Starfox, Mortal Kombat 2, Final Fantasy IV, Turtles in Time, Super Castlevania 4, Super Mario World, Actraiser, Super Ghosts and Goblins, Secret of Mana, Secret of Evermore, Uniracers, Megan X, Mega Man X2, etc.,

The list of fantastic games is so ridiculously long for the SNES. Best console ever, easily. As good as the PS2 is, it just doesn't match the SNES.
