what bothered me was that everyone acted like everything was all ok now that the virus was over
and that is all good, except for the other previous 7 seasons, plenty of bad shite went down without the virus

I didn't understand that either. They made it seem like the town would magically go back to how it was pre-Beeeeeeel and everything else.
