Yes. The young black man who tried to sell me $160 of magazine subscriptions two years ago. He was from a program in Chicago that helps them out by taking them off the streets, sending them to Southern small town to be dropped off at subdivisions to sell magazines to help them pay for education. He was well spoken and wore an oxford and tie. My neighbor bought some from him but apparently, his order was messed up because he never received any magazines. But I am sure he got that reconciled with the fine organization. I was ready to pull the trigger on a check but my HMA President pulled into my driveway, got out, and told the young man to leave due to no solicitation sign at the SD entrance. If I would have invited him in instead of talking with him on my porch, he would not have had his attempt at a better life thwarted on my porch.
