Fewer arrests, fewer people in prison, less time spending looking for fields and pouring over electric bills, less lawyer time. Less court time. Less paperwork.
Absolutely no way, the increase in DUIs offsets the massive decrease in time spent prosecuting weed.
They all know the simple fact that legalization means less money for their budgets which eventually will lead to layoffs.
