No way that happens. Derrick is not dumb enough to leave it all up to Cody on purpose. Now you may get some diary room sound bits that suggest that he is considering throwing it, but that isn't happening. If he loses outright, then he will probably say he threw it and tell Cody that he doesn't stand a chance against all of Cody's wins. But he doesn't lose on purpose.

Why does he have to be dumb to leave it up to Cody? We have all seen how bad these people are at the game, why would Derrick think Cody would not take him? Sure Cody would win against Vic, but I honestly think Cody thinks he can beat Derrick too. After all, Cody won a lot of comps.
Derrick could very well lose a vote if he wins and sends one of them out. He has promised both of them final 2 deals. Cutting one that close to the final vote for the winner could cause that person to vote against him out of spite as they don't have enough time to blow off steam.
ETA: Ultimately, it will not matter if Derrick wins or loses the final comp, we all know Derrick will win in the end anyways.
