I forgot to bring both my infant daughter to daycare, and grade schools daughters to school, realizing only when I got to work. Mind must have been overwhelmed with work. Figured it out and went back to school/daycare. DA is overcharging this guy.

You're telling me an infant and an elementary aged girl were both so silent that you had no idea that they were in the car with you?

Accidentally driving to work instead of the daycare is not the same as forgetting you have a child in the car with you. That's the issue I have with all of these incidents and the people claiming it could happen to anyone. I don't believe that.

I think the worst that could happen is you took the freeway to go to work instead of the highway to go to daycare. You took the left turn to go to Grandma's house when you were supposed to take the right turn to go to the elementary school.

Not realizing you have your own flesh and blood in the car is the utmost stupidity that deserves the death penalty or criminal charges that deserve the death penalty..

When my kids fall asleep on the way home, I am tired already and I forget they are in there. So when I get home sometimes I'll forget they are in the car until I go to get out. Only once have I left them in there but I remember maybe 5 minutes later and it wasn't a hot day.

There is no way you go all day. I think about my kids every few minutes and wonder how they are. You can't go all day and "forget".
